Ethics in Academic Publication

The article examines potential ethical violations in academic publication and then proposes that the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education (CHRIE) adopt a set of ethical guidelines for writers and researchers in hospitality. An example of a possible code of ethics is presented as a starting point for an eventual code that could be sanctioned by CHRIE.
