A Comparison of the Effects of Computer-Assisted Instruction With Printed Instruction On Student Learning in a Hospitality Management CourseDepartment of Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management Purdue University Computer-assisted instruction has been found to be a viable instructional tool forprofessional education in the nursing and business fields. Is CAl an instructional technique that can enhance Hospitality Management education? Utilizing the food purchasing curriculum, the study sought to determine if differences in student learning outcomes are present between CAl and printed instruction.
