DOI: 10.1177/109634808801200306 Autonomous Hotel and Restaurant Schools: an Emerging ModelThe School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management Pennsylvania State University The purpose of this study was to identify and select a model to use in the analysis of autonomous schools of hotel, restaurant and institutional management. The model was then used to examine three autonomous HRI programs and determine if there were any common patterns of structure or characteristics to emerge from among them.
