Nutrition and Food Sciences The University of Tennessee Accountability for program quality is becoming a major thrust in higher educa tion. This article describes the process for assessing program quality currently used in a university hospitality education program. The test development process is presented along with results from the first administration of a programmatic test for graduating seniors. Discussion focuses on how this process can improve education quality.
